Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Mnemo, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Mnemo on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Subscription & Billing

Mnemo is a subscription service. After a 7-day free trial, continued use requires an active subscription at one of the following rates:

• Monthly: $3.99 / month
• Annual: $29.99 / year (save ~37%)

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You will not be charged during the free trial.

Managing your subscription. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your Apple device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access until then.

Billing is handled by Apple. Mnemo never has access to your payment card details. All charges appear on your Apple ID account statement. For billing disputes, contact Apple Support.

3. Your Content

The books, session notes, and answers you enter into Mnemo ("Your Content") belong to you. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you — including generating reflection questions and building your thought map.

You are responsible for the content you enter. Do not input content that is illegal, violates the rights of others, or that you do not have the right to share.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or probe any part of the service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Use the service to infringe any intellectual property rights.
• Resell or sublicense access to the service.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Mnemo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any generated questions will meet your expectations. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or unhelpful — use your own judgement.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mnemo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may stop using Mnemo and delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice before they take effect. Continued use of Mnemo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
